I just had the best experience with a repair professional...Jeff Burgess, owner of Premier Door Service. My garage door opened fried the other day. I called several places including Doors of Pontiac, Sears, some operation that put flyers in our boxes. Got quotes of $330 to $400+. Then I called Jeff at Premier. He was the -only- one recommending trying to fix my existing door opener! He came out this morning at the time promised. He actually called to say he might be a little late! His service call is normally $65. He gave me a $10 discount for using his Lakes Area phonebook listing. A few minor adjustments and the opener is 100% good-to-go!! He also lubricated the springs and chain, tightened all hinges. He recommended replacing the rollers. I don't know about these things but I was so convinced this young man knew what he was doing, I agreed. So, instead of spending almost $400, my bill was only a little over $100. Wow!
